In Mediterranean cooking spaces, the type of materials used is very important, especially when it comes to the ground surface. Although a lot of designs prefer a hardwood surface for their kitchen floors, Mediterranean cooking areas typically have tiled floors, with terracotta being a very classic choice. We complimented the flooring with earth tones in the crystalized granite and alabaster shaker cabinets.
