RTA “MDI Custom Cabinetry” VS our “MDI Luxury Cabinetry”

While both items are made from top-notch materials, there are a few nuanced distinctions between them. Our MDI Custom Cabinetry remains a meticulously handcrafted, one-of-a-kind cabinet. However, it incorporates more commonplace finishes, which are typically found in large retail outlets or on the internet. It features drawers with dovetail joints and closers that softly shut. Additionally, it is constructed with 3/4 Plywood European standards. Overall, it is an excellent custom cabinet, surpassing all others in the market by a large margin. The upper cabinets use the basic 12” deep standard box with a dato. There is nothing wrong with this product and it will accommodate most customers.

On the flip side, we present our premier product, MDI Luxury Cabinetry. Every cabinet in this line is crafted in our own workshop, with a few minor variations. Unlike other brands, we do NOT include a dado cut on the back of our luxury cabinets during manufacturing. Instead, out back are precisely cut square and attached directly to the back of the cabinet. The seam on the side is covered by a “Deco Door”. This decision makes the cabinets sturdier and more square… enhancing the strength of our cabinet by over 10X the industry standard. Each cabinet is meticulously hand-finished upon completion, ensuring that no two projects are identical. To guarantee you receive the luxury line, simply measure the depth of the upper cabinet. Our luxury line boasts a distinctive depth of 12 1/4”, with a spacious 11 3/4” box capacity. This design accommodates contemporary, oversized plates, a significant upgrade from the standard dinner plates 15 years ago, which were typically 10-11 inches. Most modern dinner plates will exceed 11 inches; sometimes even as big as 11 3/4 inches… As times have evolved, so has our approach to cabinetry. We've set ourselves apart by adapting our luxury line to better suit these changes, offering deeper and more spacious boxes. We like to adapt to what works best for the customer.

Moreover, all MDI Custom and MDI Luxury drawers are laser etched, a process that ensures the product is authentic, not a cheap imitation. You will see a Crown insignia.
