Rev-A-Shelf Cabinet Storage Solutions

Transform difficult cabinet spaces with Rev-A-Shelf spice pullouts, double trash systems, pantry organizers, blind-corner solutions, under-sink storage, mixer lifts, tray organizers, and other accessories planned around your kitchen..

Luxury kitchen with an accessible blind-corner cabinet pullout

Storage Designed Around Daily Life

Rev-A-Shelf cabinet organizers turn difficult corners, narrow openings, deep pantry cabinets and ordinary base cabinets into storage that comes directly to you. The best results begin before cabinetry is ordered, when each organizer can be matched to the cabinet, opening and way the kitchen will actually be used.

Pullout Spice Storage That Uses Narrow Cabinet Space

Spice storage is one of Rev-A-Shelf’s strongest categories because it makes use of spaces that frequently become fillers or poorly organized shelves. Instead of reaching behind rows of small bottles, the organizer extends from the cabinet and presents its contents from the side.

A narrow base-cabinet pullout can hold spices, oils, sauces and frequently used cooking ingredients beside the range or preparation area. Adjustable shelves and retaining rails help keep bottles visible and upright. Some systems also incorporate removable storage bins for utensils, knives or other cooking tools.

Three useful spice-storage configurations

Base pullout organizers occupy a dedicated narrow base cabinet and place ingredients close to the cooking zone. Filler pullouts can turn selected narrow spaces between cabinets into usable storage when the layout permits it. Wall-cabinet and door-mounted racks can keep lighter jars visible without consuming an entire base cabinet.

The correct choice depends on bottle height, cabinet depth, door configuration and where the user naturally reaches while cooking. MDI Luxury Cabinetry can evaluate these details during 3D cabinet design and layout planning.

Double Trash and Recycling Pullouts

A properly planned double waste pullout conceals two containers behind a matching cabinet front. One container can serve as household waste while the second handles recycling, creating a cleaner alternative to exposed bins and freeing surrounding floor space.

Full-extension slides bring both containers forward for access and removal. Depending on the selected series, soft-close hardware, door-mounting systems and different container capacities may be available. The cabinet must be sized for the exact frame, containers and slide system—not selected by appearance alone.

Waste pullouts work especially well near the sink, dishwasher or main food-preparation zone. Placement should allow the door to open without colliding with appliance handles, adjacent drawers or kitchen traffic.

01

Tall Pantry Pullouts

A tall pantry pullout brings stored goods forward instead of forcing users to search through deep stationary shelves. Adjustable tiers can organize canned goods, jars, boxes and dry ingredients while improving visibility from more than one side.

Narrow tall filler pullouts can also create vertical pantry storage in selected layouts. Their height, loading, clear opening and relationship to adjacent cabinetry must be coordinated before ordering.

02

Sliding Spice and Can Racks

Sliding pantry racks present stored goods from the side, making labels easier to see and reducing forgotten items at the back. They are useful for spices, canned goods and smaller containers that disappear on deep shelves.

Container-organizer systems can add fitted dry-goods storage, while sliding wine racks provide another specialized option for a pantry or entertaining cabinet.

03

Blind-Corner Pullouts

Blind corners contain valuable cabinet volume, but much of it sits beyond the door opening. Pullout corner systems use articulated or independently moving shelves to carry cookware out of the hidden section and into an accessible position.

Options can include cloud-shaped shelves, half-moon organizers and multi-shelf blind-corner systems. Selection depends on door handing, cabinet dimensions and adjacent clearances.

04

Under-Sink Organizers

Plumbing, disposals and supply lines make sink cabinets difficult to organize. Purpose-built pullouts use reduced-depth or offset, L-shaped configurations to store cleaning supplies around those obstructions.

Accurate field measurements remain essential because pipe locations differ from project to project. Plumbing and electrical components should remain accessible for future service.

05

Mixer and Appliance Lifts

A mixer lift raises a heavy countertop appliance from a base cabinet to a usable working position. It can reduce lifting and keep the countertop clearer when the appliance is not needed.

Cabinet width, appliance dimensions, weight capacity and surrounding clearance must be verified before ordering.

06

Tray, Foil and Bakeware Storage

Vertical dividers keep sheet pans, cutting boards, serving trays and baking racks separated instead of stacked. Narrow pullouts can combine tray storage with organized space for foil, wraps or spices.

Rev-A-Shelf’s Sidekick concept can pair compatible base pullouts with independently sliding accessory storage, allowing one cabinet area to serve more than one function.

More Rev-A-Shelf Ideas Worth Considering

Not every accessory belongs in every kitchen. These additional systems can provide meaningful value when they solve a specific storage problem:

  • Pullout shelves for pots, pans and bulky cookware
  • Gliding cookware racks for hanging pans
  • Paper-towel and cleaning-supply pullouts
  • Deep-drawer peg systems for plates and bowls
  • Knife, utensil and cooking-tool organizers
  • Food-container and lid organizers
  • Foil, wrap and bag-storage pullouts
  • Door-mounted pantry and spice storage
  • Pullout wine and beverage storage
  • Reduced-depth waste systems for sink cabinets

Why Accessories Should Be Planned Before Ordering Cabinets

Cabinet organizers are not universally interchangeable. A product advertised for a particular cabinet width may still require a specific minimum opening, interior height, usable depth or door configuration. Face-frame and frameless cabinets can also present different installation conditions.

Before approving an organizer, MDI Luxury Cabinetry considers:

  • The cabinet’s exact interior width, height and usable depth
  • The clear opening after hinges and face-frame components
  • Door handing and the direction the organizer travels
  • Plumbing, outlets, disposals and interior obstructions
  • Clearance from appliances and perpendicular doors
  • The organizer’s load rating and intended contents
  • Whether the cabinet door attaches directly to the pullout
  • Access needed for installation and future service

This is where a coordinated custom kitchen cabinet plan provides an advantage. Storage is assigned according to work zones, appliances and household routines instead of being added randomly after cabinetry has already been ordered.

Choosing Storage by Work Zone

The most effective kitchens place accessories where their contents are used. Spice pullouts belong near preparation and cooking areas. Double waste systems typically work near the sink or cleanup zone. Tray dividers are useful near the oven, while pantry pullouts should be convenient to both food preparation and grocery unloading.

Blind-corner systems are selected around the actual geometry of the corner—not simply because a catalog photograph looks impressive. Mixer lifts work best where an appliance can rise into a safe working position. Under-sink organizers must respect the actual plumbing.

Explore available cabinet collections, compare RTA cabinet options, or work with MDI Luxury Cabinetry on a coordinated custom layout.

Rev-A-Shelf Cabinet Organizer FAQs

Can Rev-A-Shelf organizers be added to existing cabinets?

Many can, provided the cabinet has the required opening, interior dimensions and clearances. Hinges, shelves, plumbing and door construction must be measured before selecting a product.

Is a double trash pullout better than a single container?

A double system is useful when the household wants separate waste and recycling containers. It requires more cabinet width, so the decision should be coordinated with the overall storage plan.

What is the best solution for a blind-corner cabinet?

There is no single best mechanism for every corner. The correct option depends on the cabinet opening, interior dimensions, door handing, adjacent clearances and intended contents.

Should organizers be selected before ordering cabinetry?

Yes. Early selection allows cabinet sizes, doors, fillers and adjacent components to be designed around the organizer’s actual specifications.

Does every MDI cabinet include Rev-A-Shelf accessories?

No. Availability and compatibility depend on the cabinet collection, dimensions, organizer specifications and individual project design.

Plan Better Storage Into Your Cabinet Design

MDI Luxury Cabinetry can coordinate spice pullouts, double waste systems, pantry organizers, blind-corner storage and specialty accessories with the cabinetry, appliances and dimensions of your project.
