Unlike many cabinet manufacturers that rely on traditional dado cuts along the back panel, our luxury cabinets are constructed differently. The back panels are precisely cut square and attached directly to the cabinet body, eliminating the need for a dado groove. The seam is then concealed with a refined decorative back panel system, producing a stronger and more structurally square cabinet.

This construction method significantly improves durability and structural rigidity compared to many mass-produced cabinet systems.

Each cabinet is also hand-finished individually, ensuring every project maintains the character and precision expected from premium cabinetry.

A Deeper Cabinet Designed for Modern Living

One of the most noticeable differences in MDI Luxury Cabinetry is the increased cabinet depth. While most industry-standard upper cabinets measure approximately 12 inches deep, our luxury cabinets feature a distinctive 12 1/4-inch depth, with an interior capacity of approximately 11 3/4 inches.

This additional space may seem small, but it makes a significant difference for modern kitchens. Today's dinner plates are often larger than they were 10–15 years ago, with many plates measuring 11 inches or more in diameter.

Our deeper cabinet design accommodates these larger dish sizes comfortably, giving homeowners both improved storage functionality and a more future-proof cabinetry solution.
